I have a big issue with rehab conditions, they say ” oh drugs are horrible if you want to get clean come here.” Well what they don’t tell you is how expensive they are and that if you dont have the insurance or the cash they can only keep you for three days. That is not enough to kick a habit if, anything it just makes their habit grow more. You take away their drugs for a couple day once they get out of rehab they run straight to a dealer. I’ve seen someone ruin their whole family over being addicited to crack and they put her in numerous rehabs but they would only keep for as long as the insurance company would pay for it and then the rest would come out of the family’s pocket. It’s like no wonder we have so many junkies laying around this place, it’s because our government hasn’t done too much with making insurance better for people. It’s just like wow can’t you just wake up and realize that we have people selling themselves for drugs, babies being undernorish and old people who can barely afford medications. Maybe they should trying a little harder to actually act upon all the talk they’ve been talking for the past couple years.
